    Need a Tow Eye...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I hear that it is called a "Tow Eye" but correct me if I'm wrong. What I'm looking for is that metal tow loop that you screw in to the front bumper when your car needs to be towed. It usually comes with the kit in your trunk but I have no idea what happened to mine.

The dealer wants $35 for it but I was wondering if I can find it somewhere cheaper. Anyone know a site?

    Thanks guys.

    Edit: By the way it's for a 2003 A4.

You can get more stylish ones on Ebay.. Sounds gimp but they actually do look pretty hot.

Search "Porsche racing tow hook" and you'll see it.. It comes in different styles and finishes.. The Porsche ones should fit the thread pattern too.

LOL, first off it isn't like the cars on the lot have them installed already since its a order only part. So its going to be hard to steal something that isn't on the car and sitting in the back of the parts department in a box.

If you are suggesting that he should go and "test drive" a car in order to steal something off of it, then I am sorry you are tool. No offense of anything bro, but that is a lame ass comment!

And you wonder why the dealerships can't wait to void our warranties, they think we all have this mentality.

I kind of have a slight feeling he may have been joking. I'm not sure why, but I just do. Maybe it was the fact that he said it was for "internet LOL purposes only", I don't know.
(Note: If your sarcasm detector was broken while reading this post too, yes, I am only being sarcastic. As was he. The end.)

Not that funny.. To me at least. Some (inferior) people actually get ideas from comments like that.
