those are just burnt dvds of a service manual that someone scanned onto a computer. crappy if you ask me. You get get the full bentley ones from bimmerzone.com for about 62.00

LOL, bro, by DVD-ROM they mean its a cd that goes into your computer, not like a movie... hahha

i just bought the bentley one from bimmerzone and it is freaking huge! way better than chiltons or haynes. Let me know if you guys want any screen shots or whatnot.

I know what a DVD-R is...geez I'm not that much of a noob :) My point was that it has a search function, so if you want to know how to change your plugs you search "spark plug" and it'll go to that section.

Me thinks that this is offer on DVD because it is a large file. The "search" function would work only after installing on your PC.

yeah, bentley has the search thing too, but if i type in fuel filter replacement then it comes up with like 175 things?? and none of them really lead to the actual section, its kinda like yahoo search... imo the bentley is not at all what it is cracked up to be

It's probably a pirate of the Audi ELSAWin Factory manuals on DVD. It will have more info than the Bentley, if that is the case. Go for it. I may also. Says it does not run on Vista.

Yeah I don't think a paper back will e-mail very well :) Yeah that's the only thing holding me up because I have a Mac and it says nothing about that and I haven't received a reply from the seller yet.

No. But you can install windows emulation software and run inside the emulation.

I'm not going to say too much in this post, but I suggest that you NOT buy this. I got mine today and it is overwhelmingly clear that this eBay seller is playing with serious fire. Unless you want to be subjected to a potentially nasty lawsuit, I would stay away. If you want more details, PM me.
