I'm having some body work done to repair rock chips in the bumper, a scratch on the passenger side quarter panel and a scratch in the mirror taken out. I'm also having my grill painted semi-gloss black. The chrome has already been plasti-dipped courtesy of CStarky. I'm also having my valence pained semi-gloss black as well. I just don't like the color match with the quartz gray. It just never looks like it matches 100%. I'm also planning on getting dark wheels and black mirrors to go with the grill and valence.

while your bumper is being painted you should have them delete your side markers

any idea how much its gonna cost to fix the rock chips in the front bumper. I want to do this very soon. Also do you plan on putting 3M, clear bra on the front bumper once the chips are repaired?

He better be planning on the 3M Bra! Not only has it saved me from some wicked rock chips, someone even hit-and-ran on the front edge of my bumper, and the bra saved my paint, no dent. Luckily, it's hardly noticable..........it's paid for itself already!

for everything it was just over 900. I think the bumper itself is about 500. Clear bra is coming soon.

I'll second the clearbra. Mine recently saved me from some fender damage as well.

I've heard that may ruin the paint if its taken off? Is that true?

Nope. Doesn't affect it at all. It's just a clear tint.

I have it and its saved my butt a lot but the line across the hood bugs me when i wash and wax the car

I think it depends on how it's cut; the way mine was done, it provides sort of a neat line/angle along the hood and fenders, but I do see what you mean. I'm more bugged when the car gets a little dusty and the line stands out, but it's only when you're really up-close that you can actually see it.

You should've had the entire hood covered. I did. No line(anymore). I had it done partially but I couldn't stand the way it created a small haven for dirt to ccumulate behind(toward the windshield). Now, all people ask me is what the lines on the fenders are. I may have them done in their entirety too. Haven't decided yet.

Called earlier today. The car should be done tomorrow. I'm so stoked to see it!
