Bilstein Sport + OEM Sport Springs = ???

Can I use this setup? Any ideas on how it may ride? I just purchased some Bilstein sport shocks, but Im kinda undecided if I want my car lower or not (probably will buy H&R's). So will I damage the shocks with the OEM sport springs, or is the shock simply too short? Thanks!

That setup worked fine on my B5 A4, though if I had to do it all over again I would have spent the $300 on new springs. After I spent an afternoon putting the new shocks on I wished I had spent the extra bucks on springs, but I didn't ever track the car so it worked fine.

why do you want to be cheap on suspension? you have a good car to start with, don't do it this way. you will end up wasting money, trust me!

yeah, deep down inside I want springs (and I will most likely buy them), but here in Puerto Rico its like going off road everywhere haha so my main concern is not ruining my front bumper. I'm even thinking of doing the Home Depot front splitter Vinny installed to have some kind of rubber protecting my bumper from light scratches haha

If you like your ride height but want to make the ride/handle a bit tighter, putting on just the shocks will be fine. Springs usually outlive the car! Now if you want to lower as well then just wait till you get the springs then do both at once and save yourself the labor.
