On a similar note, and not to hijack, merely to expand, any Sprint Blue (R)S4's with titanium or other blackout grills would be appreciated.

Looks like the black optic grille with satin black filler.
Possibly the same as the titanium grille.

to avoid spending 260 bucks for nothing, I'm under the impression that the warning "does not fit rs4 grille. only S line" means that my B7 S4 would be ok?

The optic grille will fit your car.
Personally I just ordered the blacked out version of the s4 grille.

Got it from http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com/ for $180 and the satin filler for $75.
Im sure they have the Rs4 optic/titanium for a similar price.
