Like the title says, post up some pics of where you mounted your boost gauge, I know there isnt many pod mounts available for our A3s, but post up what you have as of now

I was really liking the design of the Stewart Warner Boost Gauge, however I read somewhere that the needle doesn't light up, and the gauge doesn't come with the tubes and install kit, and you have tp purchase the 194 LED color match bulb on the side... can anyone confirm that this is all true? I think I might call up Draft 42, or a supplier and ask. :(

This one is not as appealing as the Stewart Warner gauge shown above IMHO, but I think the needle lights up and it already comes with the red LED installed. This NewSouth Performance gauge is shown with the additional silver gauge ring installed:

Im kind of confused, I guess ill have to call and find out. Some says it is color matched to your interior on the site, then also says over 40 colors available... im assuming it can come in red Ill call and find out for sure tomorrow and let you know!

Needle doesn't light up, gauge uses just one LED to illuminate the entire dial and the 194 'color match' bulb is white in color.

The kit does come with a basic installation kit but if you are installing it in an Audi you require some more items.. specifically anti buzz restrictors.

I guess white would look better than red anyways since the rest of the numbers light up white!

new south gauge and steering column pod (this isnt a podi huh?) and silver bezel

need to know what bulb comes in this thing so i can order a 42DD HI white LED for it...

you would probably be able to find a nice mount for a Defi gauge somewhere. If you have the time, a little DIY would really pay off IMO.

A-Tre from the Bay here. New South Performance column pod with Autometer Cobalt series booster gauge. I also have the ABT shift knobber and TT cabin vents retrofitted.

I ended up ordering the same kit from North American Motorsports, I'm glad I ordered it as well, it looks clean!

how about this one. started with a cyberdine digital gauge, moved the LEDs to a piece of plastic and covered it with red lense material, put it all in the business card holder slot...

Stewart Warner Max Perf gauges FTW. I had them in the A4, with the NSP TriLED's. I couldn't be more happy.

Nope, no need to watch my boost just takes a glance to see what your peaking at also I dont feel it necessary to look at my gauge everytime I get on it, if something feels wrong then I look at it. I do like that newsouth pod though.
