Currently looking for new brake setup and suspension for my car. 2003 Avant TQM. got 19" TSW.
    What to get?????
I want bigger brakes but cant afford a big brake setup. Was looking into the 3.0 carrier and rotor setup-- is it good?
And what do i do for the rears?
And for suspension-- looking at springs and then some bilstiens. Which ones to buy. Bilstien HD, Bilstien Sports, confused

Ever thought of getting a more aggressive pad rather then a BBK?

the size difference between the 1.8T & the 3.0L rotor isn't much. Your still not going to fill up your 19's.

I upgraded the rear with 305mm and they look about the same as the fronts. Looks and brakes much better. Putting B7 S4 brakes on the front, 345mm.

    Re: Brakes and suspension????

Going to the 3.0L is one option. Picking up a B5S4 or B6S4 is another option.
    1.8T is 288mm, 3.0L is 312mm, and the B5S4 is 321mm B6S4 is like 345mm

Better pads will also make for some much better pedal feel.

Bilstein sports are suggested for lower springs. KONI sport are another very good option to consider.

Yeah but i heard the bilstien sports are great but a rough ride. And same for the KONI sport (yellows) are pretty rough. Only if the roads in the Noth East didn't SUCK! Thanks for the Info.

KONI's are noticeably more comfortable than the Bilsteins.
If you're looking for comfort, definitely consider the KONI's.
