Ordered a new girll for my A3 from you guys.... not only over paid by $60, you guys charged $20 for a $10 shipping charge... and want to charge a 15% restocking fee... (2 weeks after ordering it... still havent received it yet)

Two thumbs down for ECS as of right now

Yeah... then on top of it the best that Jon could do is offer me to refuse the package and then be out $20.... and Gary, did absolutely nothing, worst customer service I've ever dealt with when it has come to ordering car parts. Will never buy from again.

.... but yea, Jon at ECS thought he was doing me a favor

This kit looks good though, I want to buy one, ill just find the same kit elsewhere and order from them instead of ECS.

Re: :: ECS Tuning :: ZiZa High Intensity LED City Light Conversion Kit

Well let's set the story straight...

The original order for the grille was placed on the 25th (late Friday evening) and was listed as a 1-3 day item. We ordered the part in on Monday the 28th and the part shipped out on Wednesday the 30th.

Our first email from him was on Friday the 1st at 6:43pm asking how he could return the grille. The email was after office hours on a Friday and after the product had shipped out, we are out of office over the weekend and Gary responded to the email Monday.

We explained that the order could be returned, but there would be a 15% restocking fee and he would be responsible for the return shipping. We processed the order as we should have in the time frames that were expected and no mistakes were made on our part.

After seeing his post, I tried to see if I could help out. I offered to waive the restocking fee if he wanted to refuse the package when it arrived. We would refund the price of the product, but not the shipping costs once we received it back.

We tried to offer a reasonable resolution to his request and extended ourselves to waive the restocking fee, but unfortunately that wasn't what he wanted.

Long story short, he found the item cheaper elsewhere and because of their location, shipping was less expensive. He wanted to return the grille purchased from us and order the other. If the order had been canceled before it shipped out, there would be no issue... because the order had already been shipped, we offered the standard return process.
