    Hi all

My first post here guys. Just got my new A4 3.2q a few weeks ago and so far so good. I traded in a 05 A6 3.2q for it and amazingly the A4 proves to be a better luxury car than the A6. The refinement and ride is even better than the A6 (although the A6 I had was a S-line). The car is very quiet with little engine and road noise and it is definitely less nose heavy than the previous A4/6. The problem though is that the whole experience is a bit numb now because you just can't hear anything and that in itself is not a bad thing if you just need a relax ride home. I also have a R8 that I picked up just over a month ago (I know I am a lucky SOB ) so a relax ride is what I need. The B&O system is amazing and well worth the money. It is so much better than the BOSE in the A6 that even mentioning them together is an insult.

I will post som pictures later when the weather improves but you guys waiting for the B8 will not b disappointed. Cheers.

    Re: Hi all

Is there any chance you've driven either a 3.2 or 2.0T B7 A4 and could describe the difference in acceleration?

    Re: Hi all

I have not driven a 3.2 A4 before but compare to the 3.2 A6 the B8 actually feels less urgent at low rev but I have less than 800km on the odo now so the car is not run in. Once it pass 3500 it very good. As for the 2.0T, I also have not driven one in a B7 body but I used to have a GTI, which uses the same engine. The B8 I would say is again, slower at the lower rev but faster once it's up and running. However, again it is hard to judge as the GTI has a much lighter body as well as DSG. One thing I would say though is that the new V6 is really really smooth and that is something that an inline 4 will never achieve. Hope this help.

I drove A4 B6 1.8T S-line (191hp) before, the acceleration on 1.8T is more aggressive when start to go because of the turbo. Surely, the acceleration of V6 is more linear than I4 engine. So the feeling is different, aggressive (I4) vs gentle (V6). The power is same as what Vjma described.
