Hit or skip on these rims

I got these rims for a fair price locally - OEM from a B7 S4 with 3k miles on entire set-up (PS2's). I am very 50/50 about them. I can't make up my mind if I like them or not (hench putting them up for sale within 24 hours of picking them up). Here are some pics (w/spacers). Your opinion is appreciated.

kinda look OEM+ in a way, definately a step up from the stock ones. they 19s?

i say keep them for a little while to see if they grow on you. if they don't grow on you, then you can always get rid of them. i've always liked those rims though.

makes ur car look really classy... like oem but euro with the lowering, i'd say put some spacer/bigger spacer on and it would look really good

Look like B6 passat 4motion wheels, my boy rocks them on his ride. I agree that is gives an OEM look, but if they were 18's maybe i'd like them better

Yeah 18's. Man I truly am undecided. Might be because they are too oem looking. But then again I don't want too much bling/tuner/aftermarket look either.

I completely agree, some spacers would finish them off nicely

You car needs the blackout grill. And clean the break dust already would you!!! I'd sell them if I were you! ;) Sort of makes your car look like a company car or something.

already rockin' 15mm spacers in rear. I don't do spacers in the front. you should see it w/out them!

Powder coating these wheels is sort of an issue since the center caps are plastic and you'd have to paint / color match them perfectly. Not impossible, but hard to get right.

i vote skip, but not because they look bad. just cause i think you could do better. keep 'em til you find something you really like.

just trying to make it clear,
so if the majority of the people on this post says "keep em/sell em" you will follow? i wish people would grow ball and stick with what feels good with themselves rather than follow the community.

I love them... They look hot. I want a set, but they won't match too well with the Ti package.

this's the reason why I bought a set of those while back.
I don't ride on those anymore because I needed something lighter (< 18 lbs) for auto-x and stuff.
whether to hit or skip, I think you should find out what you want first.
do you want something classy or flashy or sporty or light.
if you're into something classy and subtle, the '07 S4 18's are the best choice, IMHO.

I am truly 50/50 - I put them on for 15 minutes and took them off. They sat in my garage for 4 days before I decided to put them on again (hence the pics). For the price I paid, I probably won't get a better deal (essentially brand new oem). I have been lurking the classifieds for 13 months. I have had my car for 12mos. I got a deal price-wise and have always been burned in the past for not acting on it. This time I acted but I just don't have that giddy school-boy feeling. So I figure I get some opinions to see if something clicks with me.

i like how they look. they dont stick out a whole lot, maybe would look better on an s-line, but then it'd look like an s4. i would rock those wheels with the s4 blackout grill, with s-line, on brilliant black
