    hey fellow audiziner's, i'm going to change my rotors and pads in about 5 to 10 minutes and wanted to know what size alan wrench to use and is there anything else i need??? i know what tools i need to do the brake but to take off the caliper and rotors, well no... i'm going to try to figure it out while doing it..

    rotors are usually tough to get off, have a big hammer or mallet, i dont remember exact sizes, but a general tool set with metric and standards should cover it

    do you have the rear caliper push down tool?

    the rotor came right off...what size is the alan wrench to take off the calipers

    i havent done b6, but b5 and my a6 need a 7mm allen for the front...

    5/16 or 8mm Allen:) I just did my rear.... I am trying to find v6 rear carriers for the larger rotors:(

    i dont mean to be rude, but get your damn tools and figure it out, its not rocket science... we arent here to hold your dick for your let alone give you ever size tool to have while doing a simple rotor/pad swap...

    heres a DIY, pick an allen head that looks right, see if it fits, if not try another size

    if you are doing the fronts you gain 24mm rotor size but the rears only 10mm... not worth it IMO... get s4 rears (300mm) and they are vented too
