So I'm all set to install my magnaflow "catback" system. And upon inspecting the underneath I realize that the downpipe rotted clear off wear it connects to the flex pipe. And unfortunately since my magnaflow system only goes up to the pipe that connects to the downpipe and not the cat as they say it does, I'm kind of screwed. Other than the obvious buying the downpipe and piping that comes after that, anyone have any other suggestions if I'm going to have to replace that stuff?
