    upgrade subwoofer possible in oem casing?

    is it possible to substitute the oem sub and remplace it by a better on ?

    by the way witch size it the sub ?

    oem sub is 6". Not many 6" subs out there that are going to get the quality and loudness you may want. better off fiberglassing out the rear compartment to fit at least a 8". if not 10".

    I've been looking to do the same thing. I know some companies (such as Elemental Designs) have infinite baffle subs that are small enough to fit in the rear deck. Waiting for somebody else to do it first

    my symphony Bose has a 12" sub free air with some aperiodic baffle that equals out the impedance. what system does your car have and what year is it?
