Autotech HPFP on....

I went to VF Engineering yesterday to get the fuel pump put on and I am rather impressed with it already, I can already feel a lil bit more power already throughout mid-range to redline and I am running it without the software as of now. Now I am due to go over to GIAC soon for software development. While I was over at VF I was able see them finish putting together the RSS bt kit for the B7 and its definitly a beauty. More info on the kit will be released soon.

awe will also be releasing a fuel pump in the near future. They also have already developed a pump file to go along with the giac chip.

The fuel pump file will be base off my car. GIAC we be using my car to finish developing software for the fuel pump and once finished the hpfp software will be used for all their dealers

I hate to sound like a noob, but I guess it's better to learn than to stay ignorant.

A fuel pump would basically just add more fuel into the engine, right? So with a chip, you would get more power. Can you really get more power just adding a new fuel pump?

Second off, to answer your question Yes you can achieve more hp with an added hpfp and software. without software it is possible to achieve 5~10 hp and with software you can achieve another 10~20 hp with a hpfp and software. here is an article from vwvortex with the new added hpfp with GIAC software for the VW MKV GTI and without: http://forums.fourtitude.com/zerothread?id=3801175

according to awe the file has already been created...at least for their pump. Anywho, let us know what you think once the file is uploaded to your ecu. I think chip and fuel pump may be my next major mod. I had as rs4 sway installed this past week and I'm absolutely astonished at the difference that has made. Now I'm really glad I got the stasis ss coils!
