I know I'm not much of an Audizine participant but I lurk here from time to time. I thought much of you would appreciate this more prior to any information placed else where.

Some of you know about the soon to be released SEM intake Manifold for the Trans 1.8T that may have trickled over from the vortex. So, a much saught after A4 Intake for both B5 and B6 platforms is in the works.

The same R&D I placed into the SEM trans intake has gone into this one...so nothing less to be expected, if anything better.

Short and sweet...It will be a direct swap with the stock intake. It has a 2.75L Plenum with integrated v-stacks and will be available in both small port and large port and your choice of Throttle Body (80mm TB hole seen in the pic)

You can expect to see a prototype in the next two weeks...Enjoy!

haha yea, dont expect much if any gains with a basic stock turbo setup, this is a BT, and mainly BAT, adder to see those gains

They released and dyno tested the transverse model with very nice gains...

I have seen pictures of the A4 model (but sworn to secrecy), and the word is still probably end of the year @ best.

No need for this with a K03. I doubt there would be any gains.

And I want to see the difference of it and the stock AEB big port mani on an AEB head!

And to all you guys with little turbos dont waste your time, you are only gonna see gains with big turbos like 3071r and larger running relatively high boost (mid 20s). I would guess you would see the higher claimed increase (40whp range) at like 30psi with something like a GT3076 or GT35r

your wish might come through..I have an aeb head now and I might install the stock one first dyno and may be they need a test vehicle I would be ready to help, I am in motreal and 5 min from unitronic...Also this is not for just horsepower alone, I am looking for response but mainly even flow to all cylinders, with a big turbo the car will make power regardless the manifold...
I am also thinking of making my own manifold

1 what made you choose the location of the tb similar to the oem?
2 are you trying to have the tb in the stock position for ease of installation?
I am concerned that no1 cyl is out of the flow path, and a tb center position would make more sense to me
3 did you use the same runners as the transverse manifold and remodel the plenum?
you will have a fitment issue with the coolant line and dipstick..Factory swap???

like it was stated before in this post this product is aimed at the bt cars, wich means extensive modifications...I could care less if the tb is in the stock location, what I want is equal flow to all cyl
