Selling my a4?

My buddy is selling his 2001.5 s4. Here are the mods
95,000 miles for 17,000

Apikol diff mount, south bend ofe stage 3 clutch, Giac X chip, AWE twin 1 exhaust, APR R1 diverter valves, Eibach pro street s coilovers, Hotchkis H sport sway bars, Prosport boost gauge, rs4 shift knob.








What do you all think? SHould I sell my B6 a4.... Or not

If you are planning on modding more, that engine has hella potential and I'd say why not get it and mod the dust off it?

If you aren't going to do engine mods, why not spend a little more and get a b6s4?

The B5 S4 is really labor intensive. I know that you have to pull the engine to replace the turbos if they go as wells as many other things.

Spend some time in the B5 S4 forum before you make your decision.

Well. Is the price right? I am looking at doing more engine mods. Right now im in a dolphin B6 a4 1.8T and its an automatic. I really want a manual. Would it make more sense to wait and get a B6 s4?

Maintenance sucks even more on the s4 but it's definitely a fun car to drive... I prefer the b5 > b6, twin turbos > v8

plus one. These things can be ultra-fast, like supercar fast but I wouldn't get one for the simple fact that I'm no good at DIY stuff and owning a b5s4 can get pricey.

If you know the B5's history, how it was cared for, maintenance is thorough and up to date, then they can be reliable. If not, I would pass. They CAN BE (not all are) very problematic and a majority of things that go wrong with them (blown turbo's being a big one) the motor has to come out

35k miles more? Get a newer B6 manual if you really want a 5/6 spd. No way are you going to like the B5 interior after having a B6

haha, B6 S4 is pathetic for a V8. At least you can blame it on having a measly 4 cylinder! And FWIW, run a S4 with your car if you havent already, you might be surprised!

so no more TT. I don't recommend a B5 S4 either. not a good daily driver.
i guess you are still not happy with your b6 now. get another B6 but USP this time, prefer white if you can find one or B6 S4. I know someone will be against me on this one, but oh well

If you have the cash for an M3, you definetly need to spring for one. I have a friend with an M3, and she looks smokin in it Sometime I wish i bought one instead of the audi....the e46 M3 has been my dream car since it came out
