Ok, my neighbors A6 with like 50,000 miles MAF just crapped out according to his mechanic and they want 500 to fix it. How much does the part run itself, and how do you change it?

there's a lot of write ups about it, it's not a hard job at all. I took mine off and cleaned it in about 20 minutes. Just follow the air intake to the maf.
