I was driving home last night after a show and the clock rolled through midnight. I had the radio off, so it only showed the time. This is what I saw:
yeah, blurry and taken with my phone. i turned the radio on and let it go to screensaver, and the bug continued:
after finding a parking lot to pull into, i checked the car's computer to see if i accidentally set it to 24-hour:
i didn't, and turning on 24-hour didn't change the deck at all. i changed the clock to be 1:06 AM and the deck responded properly, then back to 12:06 AM and it again showed 00:06 AM. has anybody else seen this?
if this is my deck, i'll see if i can wrangle the dealer out of a new one under warranty. if it's the whole line, then that's just sloppy. <rant> i'm a programmer, and i've had experience with assembly code (closest to binary you should resonably get) to memory-managed languages like C# and java. string manipulation to show a damn clock isn't hard. shit, digital clocks have been around for DECADES, and my $35k car can't get it right? </rant>
