The Bentley for our Audis is crap, compared to the amazingly detailed manuals other manufacturers provide. And, it's not Bentley's fault, the blame is with AoA Service Publications. The thing is, there is a lot of service data missing. If you review the "Repair Manual", instead of any useful content under the title listings, very ofter it only refer to Consult the Guided Fault Finding or other service data only available via the VAS 5051/5052 OE scan tool programming. Associated with this, is the fact that there is practically NO troubleshooting or other guidance regarding any of the electrical system or electrical equipment in the Bentley. As is, the "Repair Manual" is not a good value. One aspect is that the Training/Self Study books must be used, along with TSBs and other stuff included with the Repair Manual, so that the information can be tied together.
For the timing belt, it's covered in the Cylinder head Group, and/or the Maintenance Group.
I strongly encourage you, and anyone else who purchased this product, to go to the Bentley website and use the Feedback to complain. Unless we give feedback it's not likely to improve.
