Apexi AVC-R Install: Anyone Do it?

Anyone have a how to to install this beast?

I cant seem to find much on a search.. and not a whole lot on the internet...

Im mainly concerned about the wiring... which wires to patch into.. like tach, speed sensor, ect..

I have done the install... I have everything hooked up except the TPS (throttle position sensor) I got all the wiring from the back of the cluster. The colors vary from year to year i think... The speed sensor is way off on the AVC-r compared to what signal the cluster is getting. I just need to find the wire for the tps and I would be all set... I will try to look tomorrow to see the wires I tapped into on the back of the cluster...

So how do I deterimine what wires to tap into? The Hanes manual?

I love it, I may mount in the cup holder under the center armrest if I ever get motivated

I am going to make it so it will disappear, kinda like the cup holder does above. so you would push it and it will pop out.

i was thinking, when/if i ever install mine, of velcroing it to the bottom of the armrest, so it can be removed to use

I was thinking of mounting mine where the factory cup holders are (the ones that dont do anything..) to the right of th Ebrake. Push on the two pop ups and out pops the boost controller!

Anyone have a drawing of the ECU code pins for the 98 AEB? (1.8t manual quattro...)
