I had my car washed at Capone's "Honolulu's Best for 2007"(What a joke) on Saturday. Noticed some scratches on the hood that weren't there before. Went to talk to them in regards to this issue and was told among other colorful things "the customer ISN'T always right" and "they don't need my business they've been around for 10 years" and I was a nobody from wherever. I would suggest getting your vehicles washed/detailed at another shop. Anyone else had bad experiences with them or know of anyone who has?

I haven't been there, but I could've told you that. You should try Kurt's friend out in Waipio. I think his name is Todd. Just by talking to him about detailing, he sounds anal about his work. Kurt says he does a good job and doesn't use water.

Normally I go see Mike at Door 2 Door detailing but his shop closed early on Saturday and I couldn't get a hold of him so I passed Capone's turned around and had it done by them. Big mistake.

man, that sucks. Thanks for the heads up. Nothing worse than a small business that thinks their the shiz, without due cause. I hope they rot in hell and aren't paying their taxes, so they can be taken down.

You should report them to BBB. (Better Business Bureau)

And next time you take your car for any kind of service, double check and re-check your car for damages.

I would have thought you'd know this by now after the valet incident.

Capone's is way overpriced. Oh and by their radio commericals they sound like their full of themselves. Also I suggest you report the to the BBB and Attny. General's office and The Consumer Protection Agency if they really jacked up your ride.

I mentioned the BBB to them and they were like yeah we're members 10 times over.

As for the valet/being smarter thing. I just asked for a wash, didn't think that would do any damage. It was bright out so I couldn't see it until that night when I had her in my garage. Then I was like WTF!?!

Sorry to hear that, You are not the first person that said that types of remarks about capones. Also I would not use someone that uses water-less car wash. I know Joey (blk S2000)owned his own company a long time ago, he used to be downstairs of alamoana shopping center. But sorry to hear about your ordeal.

Hey nick how bad are the scratches? Sorry to here about your misfortune. Can you get your nail caught on it when you run it across? If you like you can call my friend todd and see what he can do. You met him he was the one with the GS when we went to the BTT show. He's going to be doing my car for the show.

yup. mike's a really good guy. i used to work with him and kato. from what i've seen, sheas luxury detailing seems pretty awesome as well.

Its to the clear they are just hairline but i know they are there ya know. The dude at Capone's tried to point out the rock chips on my hood and be like why don't you worry about those and I was like because I didn't pay someone 30 dollars for those.
