2000 A4 Remote Setup?

alright so I got a 2000 1.8T A4 about a month ago and I only got one remote with it and since then I got two more switchblades and I need help on setting up the new ones...and supposedly mine doesn't have the immobilizer chip cuz the key in the dash doesn't light up (if that makes any difference)....So I need to know how to set up the two switchblade remotes Thanks in advance!

There should be a DIY online Audiworld. I think I ahve seen some stuff on here before, just search on how to program one. and btw, the B5 doesnt have an immobilizer in the US

alright thanks guys but I don't have a VAG...is there any other way to do it?? I heard somethin about putting one key in the ignition and turning one key in the drivers door and doing something like that??

nevermind I got the 2 of the remotes to work with the key in ignition method but I think the third ones battery is dead which battery do I need to replace it? and where is it at cuz I don't see a battery when I open it up...thanks

you pull the key and buttons apart, then you split the button part in half(perpendicular to how you separated it the first time) it's a c1620 i believe.
