OK so this is seriously getting to me.

I am trying to do some all around general maintenance and whatnot and since the battery was shitty i replaced it. I didnt remember the code so i entered it in wrong 3 times and said screw it ill get the code later when i get home. Get home, get the code press the two pscan/rbds buttons again and its still in safe mode.

Q: Why won't it come out of safe mode!!!!

I unhooked the battery for 10 mins tried it then still..... took out the radio unhooked everything, still in SAFE mode... WTH gives... has anyone experienced this crap!

    Thanks if you can help

If you enter the wrong code more than 2 or 3 times in a certain period you've gotta wait an hour or so to re enter them

It's not going to drain in an hour, plus it will shut itself off before then to prevent that. Are you sure you're putting the code in correctly?

I have had this happen before. Turn it on and leave it for an hour. Trust me, it won't drain your battery. But it has to be on continuously for an hour before it resets itself.

Re: My Symphony II is jacked up

nah I had that problem too.
I didnt have the code, and no one could get my radio out and I mean NO ONE
So I found out that the code might be in the wheelwell of the car, so I found a 4 digit code and tried it, fucked up the first time.
The second time I got it right but thought I must have done something wrong since it didnt go out of safe mode.
Ok so the third time it was just fucked and wouldn't let me try again and the radio shut itself off, wouldn't even go to safe mode.
So the story ends happily, I bought a Avic D3 from a member on here for a smoking price and neither he nor his buddy who is a manager of a reputable stereo shop could get my Bose out.
The best feeling in the world is taking a drill to your radio which is nothing more than a pain in my ass and removing it that way.
BTW I love my D3 and highly recommend ditching the factory headunit.
    Sorry for the long post

thats cool, im thinking of getting one anyways, ive setup an inline converter for an amp a while ago, but i dont like that concept so i want a direct linkup and theyre cheap enough so why not!
