because all i had was an exhaust and intake and he noted on my paper work and in the system that my car has modifications and may cause problems in the future.. which will suck for me in the future if i want to sale or trade in my car... would'nt this make you mad???

Well, to his case if your car's CEL came on they would know to check the intake first to see if that was the cause.

As far as resale, just don't trade it in. ANY modified car will get raped in trade value, whether it be here or anywhere else. It's the nature of the business.

Take the time to sell it private party to someone who can appreciate the mods (and will pay for them too )

As mentioned above, I'm not 100% sure why as I'm no service advisor, but I'd have to imagine they track it incase your car does happen to run into a problem. Your check engine light comes on, they know where to turn first.

My car is modded and I'm sure it's in their system as I service my car there. I don't forsee any future problems, hell, I even have a warranty .
