    B6 A4 to B7 RS4 Build-Up

Hi, and I know this is not an A4 forum, but here are the specifications for the upgrade of my B6 A4 1.8tQ6M Ultrasport to an almost complete B7 RS4 body. It started as a stellar B6 A4, with lots of mods (see specs below), with some tire rubbing issues with the Champion Motorsport 19"x9" rear wheels and 245-35 PS2s. 9 months later, here is the product, almost finished (to be completed for the Miami Auto Show, from November 4-15. I went OEM all the way, instead of whatever wide body mods I have seen before. There is one exception, though: I still have the B6 hood, headlights, and front (Caractere) bumper and grille on, by cutting and welding a piece of the B6 front fender to the RS4 front fender. So it is a "phantom" model, e.g. a car that Audi never produced, but has reverence and authentic Audi style.

    SPECS:
Engine: 1.8t Quattro, 6-speed, APR Stage 3+ with APR FMIC, APR DV, APR Inconel header and Cat, and full exhaust, Clutch Masters Stage 3 clutch assy and lightened single-mass flywheel, Carbonio CAI (dyno'd at this point at 271 whp/278 lb/ft TQ), Wilson Manifolds fully ported/polished/flowed intake manifold and throttle body with 75-shot Pro Nitrous wet fog (still installing, will dyno when complete-Wilson projects around 450 whp when complete?!?).
Drivetrain: JHM shifter with UUC 28 oz. Rob Knob, Stasis 40% front/60% rear Center Diff, Stasis Limited Slip Rear Diff.
Suspension and Brakes: Stasis Ohlins Coilovers, H-Sport front and rear sway bars, Stasis 14" Monoblock front BBK, Stasis 12.5" rear rotors and adapters. Good Ridge steel brake lines, Motul fluid.
Interior: Podi stem-mount Turbo boost gauge, full leather upgrade, Eclipse AVN 5495 30 GB Nav system with Bluetooth, Sirius, iPod adapter, rear view camera, Rockford-Fosgate amp, 2x10" Subs in a custom trunk box, all speakers replaced, hard-wired V1, Euro RS4 steering wheel.
Body: Caractere B6 front bumper and grille, HID lights, Deval carbon fiber splitter (nice!) and Turner Motorsports M3 adjustable CF racing wing. OEM RS4 body: front fenders, 4 doors, side skirts, rear fender clips, taillights, gas cover, trunk lid, rear bumper, 35% tint with custom logo on rear window. Body painted Dolphin Grey.
    Wheels/tires: HRE 19"x9.5" C-22s (19 lbs ea!) with Michelin PS2 275-30-19s all around.

I probably have forgotten some things, and will update, if needed. Please don't be a hater. This was a 9-month, many thousand dollar upgrade, and I would not have done it if I did not think I could run with the RS4s when it is completed. We'll see . . .

    Re: B6 A4 to B7 RS4 Build-Up

Thanks for all the comments and compliments. I am not finished, of course, but I will do some things to tie it all together more. I know the wing is kinda "in your face". Please understand that this is a high performance car, that will be tracked. The wing, from Turner Motorsports, is a fully functional BMW E46 M3 racing wing, which has variable pitch, and will become an asset at speed, as will the splitter. With the Ohlins suspension and corner weighting, and brakes, and Stasis drivetrain components, this is going to be important AT THOSE TIMES. I cannot remove and re-install it, so I am living with it. Hope you can, too . . .
I tried, by loading images in order, to get it from earliest to latest, but Photobucket posted them in reverse order. I also lost captions for each photo. It's good just to finally be able to post pics at all. You can't imagine the months I spent looking at the car all stripped and gutted, wondering if it would ever look like an Audi again ?!?!?
All I can say is W H E W ! ! ! I will keep updating as improvements get completed. Here are a couple more pics for your entertainment:

They show the engine visible mods with the Nitrous, Carbonio, a better view of the B6/RS4 blended front fenders (needs grilles front/rear), and a glimpse of the interior, with the center headrest delete/replacement panel with embroidery.
