South Florida Tropical Park

Hey all,
I'm trying to get a meet going for those of us enthusiast that don't mind getting in they're cars and meeting up on the weekly to go hang out. (minus EuroSunday.)I think Tropical Park on Bird road is good for the us people in Kendall and those of us that don't mind taking a bit of a drive are also welcome. (Yes, I know there are other meets.) It would be cool if the usuals showed up to get this thing going again. We've had some good ones in the past so maybe we can get a few more to add to that. If anyone would like to caravan to the to beach afterwards, that wouldn't be a bad idea.

The rules go as following:

- No burnouts
- no loud arrivals or departures
- have fun
.....just use you're head.

If you guys are willing to join there's already a meet going on every thursday from 8:30pm to 10pm at Tropical Park in the space right accross the McDonald's. All of you are more than welcome to pass by and check it out, it's mainly VW and Audi's but any other german cars are also welcome...

The meet from the OP was Aug 9th. (Saturday).
I'll try to make thrus. night. I know where the McDonalds is. (I went to Coral Park WAY long ago and ran to Tropical for Cross Country practice).

Weather was OK from 3 - 4pm. Sat there and watched a bit of tennis waiting for a little bit. Kinda disappointed cuz it's a 20+ mile drive one way for me and it was for nothing.

Anyone live in the Ft. Lauderdale area? There is a nice new mall off I75 and Pines Blvd. with a Fudruckers. Maybe we can meet there and if it rains, we go eat.

I also live in Pines. I will be interested to meet at Pembroke Gardens.

I do go to The U everyday so if I stay late one Thursday I will definatly stop by.
