I'm looking for decent front rotors preferably x-drilled, stock OE size. Has anyone ordered from BrakePlanet.com and got their x-drilled/slotted rotors. If so, how good are they and who makes them? http://stores.brakeplanet.com/store/...&submit=Search

I wouldnt go with Brake planet. I ordered OEM rear rotors once and they sent the wrong ones. Ended up sending them back and getting new ones. Low and behold, they were wrong again. So I sent them back and went here:

Went with EBC slotted/dimpled rotors and EBC red stuff pads about a year ago. I love them, they grab really hard when needed and as long as they are bedded correctly, they should be fine. Got all 4 rotors and pads for $450 shipped. If thats the way you choose to go, shop around and see who else carries the EBC line cause you can prolly find it cheaper. just my $.02

I am looking at the same Brake Planet rotors. They look good for the price. Did you end up getting them? Would love to know how you like them. If not and you are still looking, I will give them a shot and let you know. I am looking to order in a couple of weeks.

Sorry, but I ended up going with my first choice; Zimmermann cross drilled http://www.thepartsbin.com/catalog/i...7262+6854+1093. I also got Hawk HPS pads. The price for the rotors from brakeplanet.com is crazy cheap which i liked a lot..but I wanted to go with what seemed to be more OE quality for my car.

Did you get them anyway? My Zimmermann's have been good so far..only 60 miles on it..but no squeak or anything and they look dang good.

I got slotted rotors from them for a previous car. No issues to complain about with quality or delivery. They were going to be my choice again for my B5s4 Rotors, but I ended up ordering some ATE Orbital rotors instead.

R1concepts.com also has some cheap rotors too. I dont have any first hand knowledge of them. I googled them with mixed reviews.
