I have a 2006 B7 with Nav system and CD changer. I want to connect up the iPod adapter and have some questions comments:

    1. I understand you can run either iPod OR CD changer not BOTH - correct?
    2. My dealer says the ipod adapter does not work with the Nav system and that a $600 interface needs to be purchased? Is this true?

    Thanks

your dealer doesn't know much more than what the audi parts list says

    +

    http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_s...l/86_9001.html

and 10 min later you've got an ipod in your car (you will have lost the changer but the ipod holds more music anyway)

On a similar note - WTF??? I want to connect via the factory Symphony stereo, my MP3 player. Which adaptor should I use? I would prefer NOT to put it in my trunk.
