Just had a talk with InMotion Tuning

Well, I've been contemplating getting these guys for a while, but I got a sweet deal on a SPS2 for Revo, so I kinda changed my mind. Anyway recently purchased some 380 injectors in the classifieds and decided to email InMotion about big injector program. I asked them in they had a program for big injectors. He asked me how much HP was I looking to make, I said comparable to REVO/APR stage 1+, about 220-225 chp. He said I didn't need big injectors to achieve this and that he's retuned many ecu's with stock injectors to that level of HP(dyno proven I believe he said.) I can't explain exactly how he explained it to me , but he mention that larger injectors just make tuning the car a little harder and unneccesary. I then asked him about K04 and BT tuning. He said they custom tune all turbos bigger than stock for $500 bucks and all they tuning is guaranteed for as long as you own your car. You can send the ECU back as many times as you want to get is tuned and if you don't like the tune they offer a full refund, no questions asked. I then asked him about turning the ECU back to stock for dealership visits. He said they don't have a program of hardware to do that, but it was undetectable by the dealer. I agreed, but I also stated that, they can still look at what the car was boosting to find out. He then said with Lemmiwinks, I can turn down the boost and I'll be fine.

I think I will go with them regardless and if I don't like, I can just get a refund., but what do you guys think about that part about big injectors and Lemmiwinks? He said he uses the same software all the tuners use to create their programs. So what's the deal?

I'd ask him what the stock fuel injector duty cycles are on that flash. He may have them maxed waay out.

You can adjust boost via Lemmi but its probably easier with a MBC or EBC. I tweak the timing curve with Lemmi all the time and use my EBC for boost.

Yes, I am. The guys name was Jerry I think. I didn't really take in everything because honestly a lot of i was over my head. But it was a good 15 minute conversation. Maybe you can call them and ask them about it as a potential customer and let us know what you think about what he's saying. The number he emailed me was 503-608-7717
