    Rear Diffuser

    Hi everyone!

Looking for some opinions, I have a non sline and I'm looking to get a new rear diffuser so probably going to get the one from genuineaudiparts.com for 300 bucks. I have to get it painted and looking for some opinions on what color. My car is silver, trimed in chrome, chrome mirror housing, but since its non sline the diffuser I have now is like a dark grey or light black color. So I was looking to paint this one either black or silver to match the car. Any opinions? Thanks!!

    Re: Rear Diffuser

gloss black IF you plan to paint your current grille black, or get a blackout grille...

if you plan on keeping all of the chrome on your car, the definitely color match the diffuser to the color of your car

but instead of buying a new one.. why not just take your current one off and have that painted??

    Re: Rear Diffuser

I like the look of the diffuser with the slots or openings inbetween the exhaust pipes. Looks like it has mesh or something inbetween them mine is just solid.

Chrome would probably look amazing but I can just imagine how fast it would get dirty...and I have some OCD issues with keeping my car clean..

    Re: Rear Diffuser

70 bucks? Go to www.genuineaudiparts.com and look on the main page right hand side it shows a rear diffuser marked down to 300.00 it is different than the stock A4 diffuser. If you or someone else know where to get this cheaper than what is on the web site PLEASE let me know. I asked my dealer and he told me for that one around 400 bucks! I told him I could get it cheaper and he wouldn't budge.... Thanks in advance!

    Re: Rear Diffuser

He is talking about the votex rear diffuser and not the stock (either A4, Sline or S4 one). You have to modify your bumper to actually fit it. Someone on here or audiworld has a right up on it. You have to cut (in half I think) the black plastic that is behind the valence on the car.

I just painted my stock non sline one briliant black to match the car.

    Re: Rear Diffuser

If you are asking me... I got the stock S4 valence from my dealer (HBL in tysons). It looks pretty much like the stock valence just with room for quad tips. My post was more just in amazement of how much they are charging for the valence/diffuser compared to OEM. Especially since the dealers usually charge out the ass for everything.
