Blackout or not?

So ive been debating whether or not I want to black out some items on my car.
I am one click away from putting the order through for some parts but im still not 100% sure.
This is what im looking to do.

Blackout s4 grille.
Black front/rear rings, v8 emblems, and s4 emblem.
Paint rear valence satin black.

I cant find another Silver Metallic with the blackout theme and I'd like to hear everyones opinion.

I would black out all but the S4 badge. Keep THAT as your one accent, and to let everyone on the road know what you drive! Beautiful car.

I say go for it. Just how you stated... do it. I think you hit it on the head when you indicated you have not seen another Silver Metallic blacked out as you have described. It would be original and look very nice.

I thought about it too, personally I think that the bright red tails on B7's set it off nicely, IMO.

I would blackout everything except of the emblems. But i would paint the rings (front) to colormatch the car. Thats what i got :)))

I actually have my stock grille that I had sprayed Matte Black and I have the satin silver trim ring on it. It looks Great in black, I'm just too lazy to take the bumper off again. I'm tired of my RS4 grille. There was a white S4 on here with the blacked out emblems, looked ok, I wasn't a huge fan.
If you are gonna do it though, do it in Matte Black. Check PPG paint code LG913102. It is Denim Black which is the color of my Harley. It is a great matte black finish, and can be cleaned too since it is finished with a matte clear coat too.

I think that is the route im going to go.
I want the valence to match the grille just like it does now.
For some reason I dont think the black emblems will look good.

In Illinois any tint on the drivers/passenger windows is illegal so tinting only the windows behind the driver wouldn't look good.

blackout s4 grille, gloss black filler plate, gloss black mirror housings, blackout the silver "s4" part in the front grille and leave the red, blackout the back rings, blackout the tails, and valence

And yes, you are asking a lot. Every badge I send out IS perfect. That's why they can take up to 3-4 weeks to do and that's why I charge what I charge. I don't have to give deals, because I know I'm delivering a very high quality product. Plus, I'm backed up with plenty of work, because I have lots of folks just buying them off the OEMpl.us site without asking for a deal.
I offered you a deal on them 2 months ago with no response.
BTW, that deal is off the table.

I don't like the black out look on the silver like the 25th annv. pictured above. Just looks like a low trim model you see on cars with non-painted molding, bumper trim, mirrors, etc. Looks cheap to me.

You should just get a standard RS4 grill with the brushed aluminum trim. It'll look much better than the black-out S4 grill. I didn't think the RS4 grills were that special until I got one myself and it completely changed the look of the front end. Get it, you won't regret it. If you want, I can give you the name of a guy who can get it for you for $275 shipped.

Boy, you guys think that I'll just do anything for ya. If it's a GB in a special color, you want, it will have to go thru Rich at OEMpl.us, as he is the forum sponsor. Special colors are going to cost more. Figure out what you guys want, and how many of you there are, then contact Rich & myself, and we'll see what can be done.
