need wheel suggests for the Red USP Avant..

i need some help picking out some new rims for the USP avant.. problem is, i have no money.. so dumping a couple grand on forged or BBS or _____, unfortunately, isnt going to happen.. at the same time, i dont want some Chinese rims that are going to bend just sitting in the driveway.. i will try to find something used, but i need some ideas on what to look for..

this is what i've come up with so far..
- i am going with 18".. i have a 1 kid and another on the way, i am moving to Pittsburgh soon (roads are crap), and i am not going to be able to miss all the potholes out there.. plus 18 are cheaper..
- i am going with silver / hypersilver..
- i am not getting USP wheels, i would love to have them, but i dont like them well enough to buy them..
- i like RS6, but
-- Sable already has them.
-- the come the B7 S-line and are getting more popular.
-- i've had 17" sport package 5-spokes for 6.5 years now and they are not different enough.

so i keep coming back to B7 RS4s, specifically VRM 708 v2 (18 x 8.5) in hypersilver.. i know everyone says they are played out, but i dont know that i really care.. they are a great looking wheel, decent price, and with so many out there, i should be able to find some used..

but since the set i have my eye on is not for sale yet, i have time to explore other options..

so instead of flaming me for liking B7 RS4s, give me some suggestions with the above mentioned in mind..

great suggestions, but i'm not sold on either RS6 or USP at the moment..

right now, i want B7 RS4s, but looking for other ideas.. what about the new v710 from VRM???

if you dont think you can avoid all the potholes and whatnot why go with 18s? just stick with 17s unless you have plans of lowering it.

If money is a top contraint just keep an eye on the classified here and on Audiworld and vwvortex and buy a set that catches your eye.

Any no matter how "played out" any wheel is on this forum, you will probably never, ever see another red usp avant with the same wheels as you for as long as you own the car. The forum is a small world, the actual world is much bigger. There are not very many modded audis running around pittsburgh, I only see one or two a month at most.
