has anyone here applied dynamat to their doors??? i havent had an opportunity to take apart the doors yet, so im not sure how they look between the door card and the door frame... however i have about four sheets or so of dynamat leftover from last project, wondering if i should sell it or if it could be used on our cars???

Dynamat is awesome. I haven't used any on my S4, but I want to apply some to the rear cargo area of my TT. The APR exhaust sounds nice, but it drones on the highway at cruising speeds. I was thinking that it would quiet things down.

    Re: dynamat...

Dynamat is good stuff. Believe it or not I had my entire interior done on my car back in 1990 - stereo based reason. The stuff has been around for a long time. Other than minor weight (if that is a concern at all) it could not hurt to add to the doors. Kickboard might not hurt either... just this side of the firewall. Seems like it gets kinda hot near my feet at times. I wonder if dynamat would hepl insulate that out???

but at the same time keep in mind that this stuff adds a lot of weight to the car... i ended up adding almost 80 lbs to my last car to get rid of vibrations from my stereo system... but yea.. the stuff is awesome!

    Re: dynamat...

There are several different kinds of dynamat. Some of it is really heavy when you start doing large areas.
