thinking of buying a navi on ebay, could i sell my old unit?

i see the navigation units on ebay for about a grand or so. and it appears it would be an easy swap.

do you guys think there is any kind of market to sell my current audi symphony headunit?? im trying to think of situation in which someone would buy it.. but i cant really think of any

do you think i would ever find someone to buy it, or would it just sit in my closet forever?

you will find a buyer if you sell it cheap enough. I am not even going to try selling mine. The $50 or so i get from it is not worth the hassle. I am keeping it in case i sell the car one day or if by some mishap my nav system breaks.

thats not a bad idea to just keep it...

when you sell the car, if you can get more for the navi unit, then the difference of selling the car with/without the navi unit, then it could be a good idea to take the navi out and sell it seperatly

rns-e still sells for about 1k. I am not sure how much it would fetch when you include it with the car, but it's only a 5 minute job to remove it, so i'll leave the option open.
