i have a 00' c5: giac-x flashed, upgraded aluminum diverter valves, 2.5'' cut-out right after the downpipes...btw prior going to the track last nite, i've raced a stage 2+ srt-4 with just being flashed that traps in the high 100's around 108-109 off a roll start from 40mph-125mph and i got beat by 1.5 car lengths; and i also just recently raced my brother's 2007 carrera s with my rrecent mods from 60mph-135mph and he had me beat by 2.5 car lengths at 135mph......

now last night at englishtown is was very hot and humid, and i went not caring about my 1/4 mile E/T but only for my my trap speed...i ran 3 times with giving a baby lanuch because my clutch did not fall soo good on the way down to th track...i ran consistent 98.5 mph trap speeds...honestly i was really expecting 103-105 mph...and this was on RACE MODE with 104 sunoco unleaded octane.....i know it is not my car because a couple of B5's were there and one 00' B5 with bailey's,exhaust, and giac-x software was also trapping 98.5-99mph but weighing at 3600 lbs while my car weighed in at 3986 lbs......WHAT IS THE ISSUE...PPL AT THE TRACK ARE CLAIMING WEATHER ESP. HUMIDITY IS WHAT IS THROWING OFF OUR FIGURES??...BUT CAN HUMIDITY BE THAT MUCH OF AN ISSUE??????...PLEASE HELP.

    THANKS GUYS,

    MIKE

Heat soak in the intercoolers -- I'd suggest meth injection, Darintake (search AW) and vents in the wheel wells. Or even better, get some better ICs.

Or, if you're dragging the car, may be time to look into Stage 3 with a SouthBend or Spec clutch -- esp. if yours is already slipping. Hybrid RS6 setups are putting down north of 450 hp at the wheels.
