    Boost Problems?????

    ok heres the short version. went to waterfest and got my 98 1.8t GIAC flashloaded some new shit they were doing and i am only boosting at 13 psi. shouldn't i be running like 20psi?

    wow, nobody chimed in on this probably because they wanted you to use the "SEARCH" buttom. I will help you out with this though. My guess but just my guess...

    Car before stock...
    Car now new chip...
    car still has stock vac/boost lines and all stock rubber pipes...
    Car has more boost and can't habdle it...

    Just my guess. Do you have a boost gauge and what are you running at vacuum? I would do a boost leak check and see if you are leaking somwhere, you might not know and find somthing under boost, I have found some weird sh**.

    Vac line boost leak? Stock DV no good?

    You're going to have to look at your lines and see whats wrong.
    APR 93 Octane Chip, VDO Boost Gauge, 710N, Koni C/O's, Carbonio CAI, High Flow Coconut air freshener.
