Car almost stolen today!

So i'm out of town for work and my wife drove the S to work today... The car normally sits in the garage, and we never drive it to work since we have 3 vehicles plus my company car... but she decided to drive it since it's been sitting for a while. So she calls me a little while ago to let me know that someone threw a big ass rock at the drivers side window and shattered it, but somehow it didn't break out. I'm lucky that it didn't break out b/c I had my previous f-150 stolen a few years ago the same way at a hockey game, and came out to find broken glass in the parking space with no truck... Anyway, no more driving the car to work and letting the damn thing sit for 8 hours in a parking lot. It's just asking for trouble.... It pisses me off that you can't have anything nice!

We actually just moved out of Albuquerque about 6 weeks ago and moved to a small town in southern NM, so it really surprised me.

Actually, if they find fingerprints on the outside and your car is stolen and they match the fingerprint, the guy wont get charged, there have to be finger prints on the inside. Its not illegal for somone to touch your car on the outside

I was being facetious. Although some of them are hardened criminals and have been here for a long time and not newly here. Around here the illegals are into pimped out Toyotas and Hondas. Whoever it was at least they didn't get it.

Shame on you. I've lived in Southern NJ all my life, never had a car broken in to. I did however have my car broken into while it was parked in Philadelphia. About $3k in damage.

Hey I didn't know that was for the immobilizer. I have 2 ECM's for my car. One is stock and one is APR tuned. I had them remove the immobilizer so I could move it from car to car(long story). So the APR one won't have that light?

good to hear your car wasnt stolen. think it was just someone who doesn't like you trying to jack up your car. That happened to me once. the guy through a big ass rock through my windshield. i figured out who it was and I got even. he had a raised truck and no alarm. his truck wasn't raised when i was done... axe to the chevy, nola style : )

put in a kill switch in your car, in the TRI STATE area that is the first mod you do, it dose sux you can't have anything nice know adays with out an a hole trying to steel it.
