The LN2 is a service light, it can only be cleared by the dealer (or a vagcom). You can look in you owners manual to see what it means.

Search keyfob and there's a million topics on it here - great information and it'll steer you the in right direction.

That is the Inspection 2 notification.

    1) Reset the Service Reminder Interval (SRI) for instrument cluster to remind you SERVICE DUE!
On instrument cluster, hold right button, and turn ignition on (don't start car). Release button. Display should say SERVICE or SERVICE OIL.
Either push-in, or pull-out left button, and hold until display clears. Display should then read SERVICE 8000, or SERVICE ----.
Note: That 8000 is in miles, and it's a pretty damn long interval for the 1.8T. I use VAG_COM to reset the SRI, and set it to 5000miles.

Note that there is no point to setting the interval any lower than 8k. Next time I plug the vag-com in I'm going to set it as high as possible.
