Can you show me your 2001 / 2002 S6 with stock suspension on 19s please? Just trying to guage whether it will look funky or if it will pass ..... thanks!

Here you go, saw your post in the A6 forums. Get the S6 I love almost everything about it except gas mileage and TIP but its a great practical "performance" car. It may be a good time to buy one considering gas prices these days.

For some reason I didn't take any profile shots of the stock suspension with the 19's so these are the best I can do.

Stock suspension with 19 x 8.5 +20 offset and 255/35/19 series tires which rubbed on stock suspension. I had to switch to 255/30/19 series before I lowered it.


As it sits today 25" from fender to floor on H&R coils and rear sway.




Comming from a B6 S4, the stock sport suspension was really boaty and I felt like the car was going to roll over in a turn. These mods really made me not miss the S4 as much.

Mine is still on bone stock suspension, and I was worried about the "gappina" as well, but it does not look that bad, a little high, but leaving it for now.

Raudi, yours is sweet looking! I've seen Tim's in person, and his is sweet as well - I'd be afraid of that red sticking out like a sore thumb...but it is "only" a wagon! God I love Avants.
