Anyone have any experience with stock manifold T25 adapter?

I would assume this would make your turbo about an inch lower then using aftermarket t25 manifold, correct? I have the adapter plate mated to the gt28r t25 turbo and am worried about fitment with new manifold or if I want to change my downpipe setup in the future.

spend the $125 and buy a atp knock off, anything less is cutting corners and that's something you don't want to do with a bt. if you use the stock manifold you are talking about 300+rpm increased spool times just to save a few bucks. if your dp has a flex pipe the old dp will probaly bend to fit but I'm sure it won't be pretty and make contact with the body somewhere which is a bad thing

i currently have the adapter plate. Full spool is pretty late (over 4k) I have heard this is because of the stock mani and I have heard others (mike hood) say stock mani would cause sooner spool. Im def planning on getting a mani just not sure if im gonna need to redo the exhaust setup.

Would cause sooner spool because its like blowing throw a straw that you have just squeezed.
    Get a proper manifold.

Re: Anyone have any experience with stock manifold T25 adapter?

^although i have no first hand experience. from everything i've seen(AWE's GT28r setup mainly), it causes later spool. at least, there's got to be a reason that my 28rs spools to 20psi at 3800rpm(at 4300ft elevation). and AWE's GT28r setup doesn't spool 20psi till after 4k rpm's at sea level

also, i would imagine top end flow would be horrible
