i kind of think its a DOT regulation. You can probably mod it though to have two rear fogs

Re: How to change rear fog???

Thats correct, the car only has one fog on the drivers side. You can actually get a ticket for having two, I remember this happening to a B5 S4 driver a few years back. I guess the DOT thinks they look too similar to brake lights.

On my old B5 S4 I had euro lamps with amber turn indicators, they had dual fogs lights and I ran two for a couple years without any problems. IIRC the stock housings had the hole blocked off so you couldnt even put in a bulb if you wanted to do so.

Re: How to change rear fog???

B6's have one fog light but B7's have 2.

Early B6's can easily be modded to have 2 (breakout plastic tab, insert bulb, run wire behind trim to other fog lamp) - I did it to my 2003 B6 S4 Avant, but later B6's (even my 2004 B6 S4 Avant) need a new lamp holder as well as a new lens.
