Alpine Headrest Monitors (PKG-M780)

Has anyone installed or had a Alpine Headrest Monitors installed in their A4? My car is at the shop right now and they're having a difficult time with the headrests. There is a plate inside the headrest that is restricting them from mounting the monitors. Has anyone been through this or know how to make this work? Thanks so much.
