OC/NorCal - Audi/Euro Challenge Track Day

Hey everyone,

So i've had some tracktime and always notice the Focus's and r32's having these track days for all of them, with a small competition but more importantly just a fun, great learning experience, track day.

I've spoken with the very nice people at Redline Track Events (www.redlinetrackevents.com) and will be approaching Speedventures (www.speedventures.com) as well to organize an official audi/euro challenge and track day.

I wanted to gauge interest before I put all of my time into doing this. Please list if you would be willing to pay the normal $100-$150 track day price, the date still is tbd but probably around Sept, Oct depending on availability. Thanks!

My suggestion for the few of us that are wanting some track time: piggy-back our "event" with RedlineTrackEvents @ Streets of Willow(CW)..next month.. Friday Sept.12...$130..$20 extra for timing transponder(u gotta have it)..Cmon guys dont let me be the only one representing..again and again! Anyone??

VMR , hey guys i've been talking to Chris at Redline, and we can get a bit of a discount (obviously depending on how many of us). It will for sure be streets of willow, and will most likely be sometime around Sept. or Oct. Even with a discount plan on spending at least $100 . Now that I see others are interested, I will move forward with the plan.

With the last group that I ran with, we were able to get everyone in our run group to only have to pay $100-120 dollars, per person, at streets of willow.

Well heres another option although very doubtful we could get any discount..but..this course kick ass and its a closer venue..I already signed up for Speedventures California Speedway event ..Saturday Sept. 20th morning session..Intermediate Blue group..currently $195(4X25 min. sessions) ..theres a beginner group for $178 which is a great price considering I have paid much more with NASA..Tracking the high speed "ROVAL"course!! check it out..

btw, we've met. i had the white s4 avant at streets on mother's day, and my wife was running it in beginners

Dave, your wife ran a track event? I've got to get you to introduce her to my wife and let them have a "talk." I don't think I could convince mine to do anything like that - not unless there's a Nordstrom, Pottery Barn, or some sort on the other end of the course!

Expecting to not pay more than $120 but that is still in the works, for anyone that has any vendor connections and or dealerships I will be contacting them shortly.

I've checked out speedventures and its a possibilty but honestly Johnny B. that is extremely pricey compared to Redline and others. It's an option that I will look into.

It will also be a weekend and I will post when the date is official.

Yeah, and she had a lot of fun. I bought her time with an instructor which was nice because I'm sure she wouldn't have listened to me. When she finally rode with me, she didn't freak out, which was nice.

When we did the audi driving experience she got spooked driving the rs4 (wouldn't listen to a thing I was telling her), and refused to drive the r8 (which was fine since I got her seat time in it), but she seemed to really enjoy the track day. Now she wants to do the audi driving experience again so she can drive the r8

we've talked about getting a track car since it's definitely harder on the car to be double stinting all day.
