Black Headlights?

I''m looking to change out my entire headlight assembly''s to aftermarket ones that are predominantly black. I''ve looked at a few kinds on ebay but i''ve had trouble finding good pictures of these lights actually on an Audi. I''ll add links below but has anyone seen these lights on A4''s? If so, which ones look the best and are there other types that are better that i don''t know about?

If this isn't an unwritten rule, it should be. You drive an Audi, don't buy shit off of eBay for it that’s "aftermarket". It's disgraceful and makes you and your car look cheap. Ecodes or bust. Don't make me come up to Fort Fun and revoke your Audi card..........................

Hey now don't go revoking my audi card just yet Kitrell. I thought they looked a bit suspect myself so thats why i asked here before i got them. Hard to tell what they'll be like from one computer picture.

Anyways, if i got the "joey modded" lights from "prey" there is a way to mod them for an HID system with a little handywork right?

Also prey, it looks like the upper mounting brackets on your driver side headlight are glued on with JB weld or something. Is this true?

Cruise down to Denver and pick up the ones from Avalon. Got them about 2 months ago and they're sick! I would recommend the 55w kits that they sell there as well. Everyone comments that mine are retarded bright now, and my buddies with stock are jealous

Yea u can mod them to Hid, or just simply run a h7 hid kit on them. Yea the tabs look like they are epoxyed or jb welded on, i actually just noticed that, but umm, they are nice and tight, u wouldnt have any problem installing them.

I personally wouldn't buy ebay headlights (taillights on the other hand, some are pretty decent).
I've learned from experience. I bought a set of halo projectors similar to the 2nd link in the origional post for a Mazda Mx-6 I had. The lights for one, didn't put as much light to the road and two, the reflectors started to peel after like 2 months of use (stock wattage bulbs too!!!).

Don't buy them.
Not only do they look cheap and cheezy...THEY REALLY ARE JUNK!

Take up prey on his offer. I have different halo's that i got mainly for the black housing cuz you cant get any decent priced black housing headlights these days, but even if you do get the ebay ones, just dont connect the halo's and you'll be good.


PS - My headlights actually look really good in person, i've gotten tons of compliments its just the halo part alot of audi enthusiasts dont like, so like i said, just dont connect the wire for that part cuz it doesnt come connected. Otherwise theres no fogging or any fitment problems so the ebay ones will be fine besides the fact that "they arent OEM....boo hoo". But I would still take Prey on his offer before you go to ebay.
