Ya, ive done the search and found one person that has really said anything about the MTM chip and they didnt like it. SO i am curious if anyone else out there has this chip, and what they have to say about the power.
    MTM say
    245 hp
    and 263 ft lb tq

    compared to say apr
    241 hp
    and 292 ft lb tq

Just wondering about anyones experience with the mtm chip, the old style you had to pull your ecu but now they also do they flash. I think the MTM might be more reliable since its not pushing the number apr is, so im assuming they are using less boost, so it would be more reliable.

    Re: MTM CHIP

do u have the option to put your car into stock mode with mtm? if not then its a waste cuz no matter how weak ur tune is, audi will not cover it. And btw getting MTM will not make you bulletproof as dv, pcv, and other problems occur to even bone stock cars. is mtm your only nearby dealer? not bashing mtm here, just cant figure out its appeal

if you want to go the MTM route you might as well also look into O.CT tuning as well. Visit www.stratmosphere.com for that info

    Re: MTM CHIP

thanks, well i have a choice between stasis and mtm. and stasis is way too much money for the same gains as mtm. I have been told that for 08 they beefed up the dv valve or previouse models. I dont think i have a choice between stock and chipped. They are doing it cheap though $500.

STaSIS software is more money because you maintain your warranty. You can't really compare the two products.

    Re: MTM CHIP

    a custom one

custom mapping on your engine spec,exhaust,intake.....

Each engine has his own numbers
Audi wrties that my lil 1.9 TDI has 115hp an 285 torque
on the testing he had 120 hp and 290 torque
so they did a custom write up to 165hp and 398 torque

    Tim's Cascade Jalepeno Chip

Seriously though, the differences between all the chips have been covered a tirillion times.

    Most people like APR

The most popular are APR, REVO, GIAC and maybe Unitronic

I'm a fan of APR. As the gains are nice and most (APR) dealers for them are willing to reflash you w/o charge if the Audi dealer flashes over them. Not to mention APR constantly updates their software FTW.
