I lowered my car with H&R COILOVERS and I was told by the wheel alignment place that I needed a camber kit for my car I drop my car a finger and a half in front and two finger in back betweeen wheel and fender. My front tires are eating up on the inside. Drop me a link thanks. My B-5 used the next on the right hand side to move to the next pic.

you don't need one but i think there's a way to tweak the camber a bit on our cars. or maybe it was a diff suspension setting. there's a diy on doing an alignment on here though.
    here's a thought though http://www.k-mac.com/

You can't adjust camber on the B5 but you can even it out so its equal on both sides (meaning it won't be too negative on one side compared to the other side). That is done by shifting the subframe.

Something about dropping the subframe I think but I don't think it really works. I think maybe because both sides are linked it doesn't do anything.. only changes it relative to the other? You don't 'have' to get a camber kit, but there isn't a way of changing the camber stock. Get some adjustable upper control arms if you are worried about your tires

Purems is going to be coming out with some adjustable control arms which allow you to dial in your camber.

You dont NEED it, but if oyu want perfect camber, then I suggest getting a camber kit. With our cars, there is no exact camber adjustment spot, so in order to do that, you must adjust the subframe which can only even it out.

Re: Do I need a camber Kit when you lower the car

Don't bother with a camber kit. If your car is low enough to need one then it is too low.

The inner tire wear is from an incorrect toe setting not from camber alone. If the toe is corrected the tires will stop fighting each other which just scrubs off the rubber.
