Gtg/run/lunch This Weekend 8/2...shine Her Up And Take Her Dancing!!!

Ok, so I am dying to have a solid meet and run with my fellow Four Ring Brethren. I've only met 2 of you guys so far. I've noticed how active socal is and we need to really get the GTG's up and running on a solid basis here in the bay. There are so many sick Audis up here, and it's time we show off what we have up here....and you know your baby wants an excuse to show off in all her quattro glory.

Tsalani and the guys at Late Night Tuning said we could use their large parking lot as a starting point for the run. They are a pure race shop and will be open for quotes and chewing the quattro fat. They will probably run with us in one of their monsters.

Head out up the 84 (La Honda) to famous ALICES' Restaurant for Lunch with the other gearheads! The louder your exhaust the better with these peeps. :)

We will head down La Honda and stop at San Gregorio State Beach for the photo shoot of all photo shoots.

Then we will cruise the 1 for a few miles south and head up Pescadero Road/Alpine for twisty goodness and the real purpose of this run.

Alright, there it is. I know it is last minute, but damn it, your Audi is worth it. Don't make up a bs excuse about this and that...lets just rock. If it turns out that this HAS to be on sunday, we can make the proper adjustments...but, we have a solid plan that will be a fantastic time and great way to start off your weekend. The weather should be magnificent.

NOTES:
- I am not a member of Audiworld, but if someone could make a cross post, we would love to have those peeps.
- bring your cameras: i mean, one shots, DSLR's, Video, and disposable. Let's document the shite out this event.
- I have no problems with those other Deutschland cars coming, the more sexiness the better...but let's make sure everyone knows this is primarily Audi

be careful, we came back from Alices ride yesterday, i took my 6 , my boys took cars and bikes, and cops are all over the place, "bike cops" and "car cops"...just heads up guys :) some parts of the roads there were not that good for my low low 6, nothing bad, but 19s felt not usefull, next time i'll put a set of track 17s :) good luck and have fun :)

thanks for the heads up, i agree with what you said. The 84/Alice part of the run will be nice and cruise mode. The Pescadero Road/Alpine part will be where we can unleash a little. It is much less crowded and much twistier. We will by no means be flying through the hills, but a line of beautiful audi's snaking in the hills is a beautiful sight at any speed. We all want this to be a great experience and hopefully an impetus for future runs. I don't know many secret spots in the bay area, but this will be a great start.

you are welcome to come. I am new to this forum too, but i know a lot of the OG's are really dedicated to revamping the norcal scene again. don't worry about speed. none of us want this to be bad experience. we look forward to seeing you. just get your car cleaned so we can take some nice photos.

I actually live in San Mateo now. I consider myself still in SF since I went there for elementary school ,middle school and high school. I went to highschool here in SM for a year and hated it haha.

Turns out I have to be at a coaches clinic for soccer tomorrow from 9am to 12pm here in Benicia.

Be safe on the drive guys and remember to stay at maybe 70%-80% of your limit. We've had some fellow AZ'ers go over the edge.

Ill see most of you on the 10th for the Berkeley marina GTG and hopefully my car will be done cause I have a race that day too.
