    hey guys,
thinking about purchasing these wheels. little problem though how would i run these.
specs: 18x9.5, offset is +20, but it is made in our bolt pattern 5x112

i think there was only 1 or 2 guys running this wheel but can't remember who they were.

    thanks in advance

You're going to need wheel spacers if you plan on running those.

Stock offset on "Swings" is ET45. Meaning "+45" and that's not as wide as what you're looking at. I'd be willing to bet that you'd need almost an inch of spacer.

You should look into rolling your fenders as well.

Funny, I just sent these pics to a friend a few seconds ago. These are 18x9.5 et20 and wear 285/35-18.

Where did you find the wheels and what do they want for them?

I also have custom wider flares coming soon (hopefully). My goal was to put 305/35/18 Toyo RA-1 tires. But for now, the 285's will work.

    and

    I did the 14mm-12mm X 1.5 conversion.

onemore... any idea on fitment to the B5? You know more about that stuff than I do. The only part I'd be real worried about is the ET20 and 9.5" wide.

Re: thinking about these... need some opinions though?

    Stock S4 17x8 et35 compared to a 18x9.5 et20. The diameter doesn't matter here so an 18x8 et35 and 19x8 et35 are treated the same as the 17x8 et35.

Compared to the stocker the wide Rota will have 4mm less inner clearance and stick out 34mm more. The wheels are Mercedes fitment which means they are set up for 12mm lugs instead of our 14mm. Either the lug holes can be drilled out or everything can be swapped out to 12mm hardware. I'd drill the lug holes.

    K. I'm following, but he's going from a car that runs a 16x7 ET45 to a 18x9.5 ET20. According the website you provided, that would make the wheels 7mm closer to the spindle/uprights and poke out 57mm.

My bad on the spacer idea. That would make that thing look like a rollerskate.

EDIT: one thing to keep in mind. You start messing with your offset, and your wheel bearings will probably not last more than 60K. Sometimes less, depending on the severity.

Right on the money. I use the stock S4 wheel because a 17x8 et35 has perfect inner clearance.

The wheel bearings will see more stress and so will the tie rods and steering rack.

I doubt you can get them to fit under the fenders. Look at the pics of the allroad. Look down the side and imagine how far the wheels would stick out without the flares. If anything the A6 will fit a wider tire than an A4 so it just gets worse.

    Exactly.

All Roads are just shy of pure sexiness, maybe you should buy one of those to put the wheels on.

They could work on a Jap. car. I'm imagining a widebody 350Z or Silvia rockin a set of those.
