which downpipe should i go with

nope the engines in the cars those are for are mounted differently then ours. i just did a 3inch downpipe on a jetta and it was way different than ours.

edit: just realized i read your post wrong. im not sure how the engines in FWD a4s are mounted but if its the same as a quattro than those wont fit. but as long as you get a stainless steel dp you should be fine.

thanks for the reply thank god i didnt buy it, weird i did a search on ebay for a b6 a4 and nothing comes up for the downpipe only a test pipe

yea i was just searching on there for a DP too, seeing how i am running the stock one. i tryed searching flex pipe too and nothing except for B5s. oh well, the stock one is almost 2.5inches like the rest of my exhaust so it will be fine. good luck with your search!

Don'[t get those.
You want one with the bracket on there with the lollipop bolt (rentention) system.

You know all those stretched bolts on the exhaust manifold connecting to the turbo? One of the reasons is that the entirety of the exhaust system will be resting on those three bolts and pull on your turbo/manifold.

Make sure you have one made or find one with the proper bracket.
