Re: what to use on wood

Which car is this wood trim in?? Most trims have a urethane coating on them or hard clear coat. They can be polished out.

    BUMP-o!

I just got a used S4. Looks like p.o. tried to wipe them down w/ like a wet rag or something. Streaky in some spots.

I'm too meticulous to let that slide.

Can I just use microfiber? OR do I need to lubricate the surfaces to shine them?

    How diluted?

Just worried that too much soap residue isn't beneficial, and will attract dust quicker.

Bump w/ an answer to this question!

I decided since the coating on wood trim is like clear coat on the body, I used detailer spray and claybar'd it. Then I used some Turtle Wax Ice, buffed it, and HOLY SHIT! You would think my trim was 8 months old, NOT 8 years old!
